From David White, Co-Founder, and CEO of Innovative Health Diagnostics:
The recent powerful SCOTUS decision will undoubtedly change the course of history for many and also touches those struggling with fertility. Nearly 20% of the time, it takes more than two people to make a baby with the use of reproductive medicine.
There are countless life-changing consequences this verdict may have on reproductive medicine. While the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade does not directly restrict procedures immediately, such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF), interpreting some state laws may send IVF procedures into a legal debate, at the very least. As a reproductive healthcare provider, the decision can have detrimental impacts on our industry and the families and individuals we serve.
We support people in their desire to grow their families and are hopeful the decision will not complicate an already emotionally challenging and complex process. Our passion resides in creating beautiful families and carrying the hope of family forward for millions of people.
